The
NCA Production System has taken years to develop, and it is still
evolving every day. It basically consists of setting specific daily
targets of rigid through-put and quality, while also encouraging our
workers to be flexible and creative in reaching those precise targets.

ur
production teams are stimulated to find better methods and to implement
them. Simplicity is both the tool and the goal. Accomplishing our
objectives requires our senior managers to spend considerable time
on the shop floor every day evaluating changes. Valid changes are
implemented quickly and the daily results are then monitored. In all
cases, the ultimate goal is service to the customer and if the changes
to the process do not ultimately improve quality, lead- time, speed
of manufacture, or safety, then they are dropped and the search for
improvements continues. By having manufacturing decisions driven by
our senior sales staff, we insure that the customer is always put
foremost in our processes. In this way, the marketplace realities
are transmitted directly to and addressed by our marketing teams.
For over 30 years, the NCA name has stood for quality products, service,
and distribution. We continue to strive for outstanding performance
as a service-oriented manufacturer through the employment of simplicity,
both as a tool and as an ultimate goal. In an industry, where there
are many suppliers, we have to ask ourselves "Is there anything
special about what we do?" Our strategy is designed to be able
to allow us to answer that key question affirmatively. NCA is unique
due to close relationships with our customers. As we have grown over
the years, we have continually refined our processes to make the pathways
for every product and service simpler and more direct. In short, the
more customers we acquire, the more we strive to be close to them.
To achieve this goal requires rigorous focused effort to ensure that
growth itself will not obstruct better customer service. Of course,
it is not enough to know what you want to accomplish. We had to devise
a system that was both rigid and flexible at the same time. Having
valid goals, well-developed products, and a proven production system
is not enough to ensure success in today's fast-changing business
environment. We must reach and satisfy the customer. Over the years,
we have developed a continental network of experienced, dedicated
sales representatives who are the sharp end of the market and who
serve the industry consistently well. We are extremely proud of our
network of North American sales representatives who share our values
and strive to ensure that our products are available on time, without
defects. Just as all of our employees are dedicated to simply being
"easy to do business with," our representatives equally
are committed to the goals of simplicity, speed, and quality service.
